Maria von Brincken, an award winning landscape designer, holds a graduate design certificate from the Radcliffe Seminars Landscape Program, Radcliffe Institute (1994) and a national certification from the Association of  Professional Landscape Designers (2003).  Her design work is featured in Fine Gardening Magazine, and Taunton Press’s “Front Yard Idea Book”, and in "Dream Gardens" on NECN channel. As a contributing editor to Landshapes Magazine Maria writes a column. It is available on her website. Additionally, she lectures, leads workshops, and symposia.

Trained as a fine artist, color theorist, and graphic designer; she brings years of critical design thinking to her landscape solutions.   She designs distinctive landscapes and original gardens. Maria creates beautiful special outdoor places using native and ornamental flowering perennials, shrubs, trees, and vines.
