Lots of books on color theory and its application
exist, but this one is readable. It inspired me to develop,
use and teach a simplified and systematic form of her text
which I have used for over 15 years. Remember the plants pictured
are for England's climate and may not survive our northern
states. |

Her fabulous book contains plans, illustrations,
and photos of her great English design schemes. It inspires
me to create impossibly beautiful gardens that are as romantic,
dramatic, and abundant as hers in inspirational settings and
gorgerous plantings. Her work also defines the elements of
outdoor rooms in a traditional and classic style. |
