Late Summer at the Edge
Edges are interesting places, don’t you think? Edge of land and bay and trunk and sky are obvious here. And, the colors of late summer–early September when this photograph was taken–revealed in waves of golden tan and green and water’s milky blue reflecting the cloud and blue of the sky. Edges create texture and the tactile sense that we appreciate. And contrast so we can see the all the so interesting layers.
